Project description
Rockingham City Council voted to approve conditional rezoning of approximately 165.07 acres at 316 Old Cheraw Highway from high-density residential to conditional light industrial for a Terra Nexus data center. The facility is planned as four buildings totaling 460 MW, to be completed over six years, with 192 diesel backup generators and Terra Nexus paying Duke Energy upfront for infrastructure upgrades.
