PointOne Data Centers, partnered with CyrusOne, announced on June 8, 2026 a $900M, 90 MW hyperscale data center on 430 acres owned by Trustwell Property Group on Lower Moncure Road in Sanford; about 150 residents opposed it at the July 13, 2026 Lee County commissioners meeting and are seeking a moratorium.
