Project description

Microsoft bought 136 acres in Union City for $53.5M, and the campus there will have three roughly identical data center buildings. Phase 1 is 612,000 sq ft and the whole campus tops 2M sq ft, at 324 MW total. TA Realty and EdgeConneX are leading the $1.842B investment. Phase 1 construction began in late 2024 with the building online in 2026, and full completion is expected in 2029 against a 2032 deadline. A $75M tax abatement was approved.
