At an April 2026 informational meeting, Talen Energy, Peron Development and J.G. Petrucci Company pitched a 1.2 GW, $5B data center campus on roughly 240 acres of farmland in Lower Mount Bethel Township. The plans have since been scaled back. A formal rezoning request is pending before the planning commission, which meets next on Oct. 20.
