Sacramento-based Panattoni Data Centers' Project Bluegrass is a nearly 950-acre data center development in Burgin, Mercer County, with less than half the acreage to be developed; construction could begin as soon as 2027 with phased development through roughly 2030 (schedule preliminary). Mercer County passed a one-year moratorium on 2026-08-12 and Burgin's annexation vote is pending.
