Project description
The $2.8 billion, 457-megawatt NorthMark and Valara data center is being built along South Pine Street (former Kohler plant site) in Spartanburg; construction is expected to continue into 2028. The 457 MW figure is the on-site natural gas generation (behind-the-meter, no grid export per the Aug 27, 2026 PSC ruling).
