Project description
NorthMark and Valara are building a $2.8 billion, 457-megawatt data center on the former Kohler plant site along South Pine Street in Spartanburg, with construction expected to continue into 2028. The 457 MW figure is on-site natural gas generation. It's behind-the-meter with no grid export, per the Aug 27, 2026 PSC ruling.
