AWS confirmed it is in discussions with Homer City Redevelopment about a data center campus at the 3,200-acre site in Center and Blacklick townships, where a 4.5 GW gas-fired plant (Kiewit EPC, seven GE Vernova 7HA.02 turbines, $10B+ initial investment) is expected to come online in 2028.
