Project description
Switch opened its Grand Rapids campus in the converted Steelcase Pyramid in Gaines Township, Kent County, Michigan in March 2017. The developer states the campus is designed for up to 1.8 million square feet of data center space and up to 320 MW of power; the first phase carried over 225,000 sq ft of data center space plus a 471,248 sq ft second building. The campus is live and has been adding buildings since.
