Project description
Miami Beach-based NextNRG announced in September 2025 a long-term lease option on 1,600 acres in unincorporated Nassau County near Jacksonville International Airport: roughly 1,200 acres for a 200 MW smart microgrid and 400 acres for hyperscale data center development, with potential access to 6,000 more acres; no applications had been filed with the county, which was advancing a one-year moratorium.
