Sangamon County Board voted 17-10 on April 7, 2026 to approve a zoning variance for CyrusOne's $500M data center campus on 280 acres of farmland in Talkington Township (13000 block of Thayer Road near Waverly), 600 MW when fully built; construction permits still required.
