QTS is moving ahead with plans for 17 more data center buildings, nearly 8M sq ft, across about 1,100 acres near its White Oak Technology Park campus. That land is a 600-acre tract plus another sizeable tract, and the existing campus already has over 3M sq ft built. Richmond BizSense reports QTS applied to DEQ for permits covering 370 diesel emergency generators.
