Project description
MGX, Bpifrance, Mistral AI, and NVIDIA announced a landmark joint venture to develop Europe's largest AI campus near Paris, with a planned capacity of 1.4 GW. The project reflects a new model for sovereign AI infrastructure: MGX provides Gulf capital, Bpifrance anchors EU sovereign interest, Mistral AI drives model development, and NVIDIA supplies next-gen GPU infrastructure. France's nuclear-dominated grid (~70% nuclear) provides low-carbon, reliable, cheap industrial power. First phases expected 2027, full capacity by 2030.
