Project description
Google has proposed a second Linn County data center near Palo, and city officials say no tax cuts will be offered. Google is also backing NextEra's restart of the 615 MW Duane Arnold Energy Center in Linn County to power its data center operations. DOE closed a $1.9B loan in Sept 2026, and the restart is targeted for 2029.
