Project description
DataVita's site near the M8 in North Lanarkshire was named Scotland's first AI Growth Zone in January 2026, with 500 MW of hyperscale AI data centre capacity planned alongside more than 1 GW of private-wire wind, solar and battery capacity, developed with CoreWeave. In August 2026 DataVita raised £300 million to expand its existing DV1 data centre and build DV3, both contracted to CoreWeave.
