Project description
Beacon AI Centers has committed to building 4.5 GW of AI-focused data center capacity across Alberta, Canada, an estimated $7.2 billion USD investment. Beacon is drawing on Alberta's abundant natural gas reserves, excess grid capacity and business-friendly policies. Its six shovel-ready sites cover over 2,500 acres near Calgary and Edmonton. Construction is planned in 100 MW phases, and the first facilities are targeting energization by late 2027 or 2028.
