Project description
In March 2026 Amazon bought GWU's 111-acre Ashburn campus for about $427.3M. On July 28, 2026 it filed a site plan for four two-story data center buildings totaling more than 800,000 sq ft and is seeking by-right approval. GW may stay up to five years, and Amazon says construction won't start until GW leaves.
