Project description

Scala's "AI City" in Eldorado do Sul, Brazil, is one of the world's largest planned AI infrastructure projects, with a total potential capacity of 4.75 GW. The first phase, providing 54 MW, is already operational as of 2026. Designed for high-density AI workloads, supporting rack densities of 150 kW+ with liquid cooling. Scala has committed 500 MW to Brazil's "Sovereign AI" initiative in partnership with the federal government.
